Positives :
- The method of online survey allows surveys to reach a wide distance of participant, and not only is this beneficial as it is hardly time consuming, but can be a lot easier for the researcher, as the data is automated and requires limited work (Wright, 2017)

- online surveys are also proven to receive preference in completion throughout the public, this gradually increased throughout the 90’s and the early 2000’s (Evans and Mather, 2005)
- its also relatively low cost (for the free options) which is ideal on a student budget and for a small scale research project (Advantages and Disadvantages of Online Surveys | Cvent Blog, 2020)
